Iranian Energy Delegation Visits Lanp Group to Explore Pathways for Energy Security and Zero-Carbon Goals

On December 6, the "Iranian Smart Grid and Distribution Management Training Program" delegation visited Lanp Group for an observation and exchange session. The program is sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce and co-organized by North China Electric Power University and the Yueqing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Composed of senior officials from Iran’s power sector, the delegation carried out the visit as a key practical segment of their training agenda in China, with the aim of deepening technical exchange and project collaboration between the two countries in clean energy.

Lanp Group’s Chairman Hu Daoping, along with the core management team, warmly welcomed the delegation. Accompanied by the company’s technical staff, the Iranian experts engaged in a series of technical exchanges and onsite inspections. The two sides also held in-depth discussions on energy industry trends and potential cooperation opportunities.

The Iranian expert delegation inspected Lanp Group's new energy production workshop and its energy storage products on site. They spoke highly of the company's mature practices, particularly its innovative dual quality inspection system that combines human expertise with automated checks, its standardized production processes benchmarked against high-speed rail standards, and its comprehensive end-to-end quality control.

At the exchange forum, Hu Daoping, Chairman of Lanp Group, introduced the company's development history and strategic planning in the new energy sector to the Iranian expert delegation. Zhang Wenman, Deputy General Manager of Sales in the Group's International Trade Department, further elaborated on Lanp’s core technological approaches, product portfolio, and successful applications in both domestic and international markets.

As a key Belt and Road market, Iran is accelerating its deployment of renewable energy, including photovoltaic and wind power. Lanp Group, with its proven expertise in energy storage, mature project experience, and technical edge in microgrid dispatching, is positioned to support Iran in diversifying its energy mix.
